A Marine Veteran, Dilcia is originally from California. She joined the United States Marine Corps in 2002 and spent time as a Professional Military Education Instructor and later as a Court Reporter for the largest military justice center of the Marine Corps. Dilcia worked in the areas of criminal law, administrative law, and investigations spending hundreds of hours in the courtroom as a court reporter.
After 11 years of active service and achieving the rank of Sergeant, Dilcia left the Marine Corps to attend law school, obtaining her law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
Admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court, all Circuit and Superior Courts in the State of Indiana along with the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, Dilcia practices in the areas of family law including CHINS cases, criminal law, construction law, premises liability, breach of contract, complex tort, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, governmental liability, and bankruptcy.
Dilcia is also fluent in Spanish.
